Hi, we're Pet Care XpressLLC

Dr. Lisa VandeBerg was born and raised in Menomonie. She has a degree in Biology from UW-River Falls (1987) and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-School of Veterinary Medicine in Madison in 1992. After vet school, she completed a year-long internship in equine medicine and surgery at Kansas State University and then worked at Range Animal Hospital in Ironwood, Michigan (doing both small animal medicine and equine) until 2000, when she moved back to Menomonie to work at a small animal practice. She started Painted Pony Equine Service, an equine ambulatory practice, in 2002. Due to aging joints, she went back to small animal work in 2020 and worked at three different practices until starting Pet Care Xpress LLC. She has also been providing cat spay and neuter and dog neuter service to the Dunn County Humane Society for the past 18 years+, so she is very experienced with these as there is no shortage of cats!

Dr. VandeBerg has a hobby farm SE of Menomonie where she has chickens; pigs-3 mini pigs-Peppa, Sal and Marino, and one 700# pet-Muffin-that she bottle raised; goats; one Quarter horse-Squirt- which she trail rides and has attempted to do endurance rides with; 3 dogs-Anna and Tillbert-both Dachshunds, and Carlo-a Maremma that is supposed to be guarding the livestock, but mostly just sleeps on the couch. In the tiny sliver of time left after working and taking care of the animals and the farm, she also enjoys kayaking, reading, riding, baking and cooking.
